What are the best sleeping positions for Back pain relief ?

Introduction
Lower back pain is associated with your sleeping position by changing the sleeping position and alignment of spine position is key to relieve back pain

The below mentioned are the sleeping positions to relieve back pain
Sleep on your side with a pillow below neck and between your knee
Place a pillow between your knees either rest on your right or left shoulder contact with matters, this helps the hips, pelvis, and spine in better alignment
Sleep on your side in fetal position:
sleep on your back and then roll over to your side moving your knees towards your chest and move to your sides from time to time which helps to reduce pressure on your lower back
Sleep on your abdomen with pillow below:
Usually this position is not recommended for those who are suffering from LBA. Place a pillow under your lower abdomen and rest which eventually decreases the pressure of your lower back,keeping the spine and hips in better alignment.
Sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees:
sleep flat on your back place a pillow underneath your knees or roll up a thick towel under your back for support. This helps in weight distribution evenly and less strain on your back dresses the pressure on your lower back.
Sleep on your back in reclined position:
For the patient, who are suffering from the condition like isthmic spondylolisthesis in which your vertebra slip over the one below it causing severe swelling and inflammation along with severe pain
In this, the reclining position can be very helping and can relieve pressure on the pain

- Pillow support :To make sure that your pillow is soft like foam or latex type which support your neck to keep in alignment to avoid further stress on your spine
- Use of supportive mattress: A soft orthopedic mattress is recommended or inner-spring mattress or latex or foamy type to make sleep better aligning your spine in right position Thank you
